On September 9th, the Illusions Lingerie family traded our usual environment of being surrounded by bras and briefs for something completely different - flowing drinks, canapés, and the glamorous atmosphere of The Langham Melbourne for the North West Local Business Awards.

The Illusions team stepped out in style for this special celebration. Tracey (owner and Melbourne’s "Bra Fairy") looked absolutely stunning in her Spanx shapewear and a black velvet long-sleeve dress that shined beautifully under the award ceremony lights. Talya (our expert fitter and Tracey's daughter) was a vision in her stunning pink floral AJE strapless dress, looking like an absolute princess. And Jesse (Tracey's son and resident tech expert) swapped his casual clothes for a sharp suit and tie - looking very dapper indeed!
From Moonee Ponds to Fashion Category Finalist
Being named a finalist in the fashion category was truly an honour! When we started our business 42 years ago, there wasn't social media or business awards like this - so it's such a privilege to be recognised and celebrated in the community for our professional bra fitting services.
The evening was filled with amazing singing, great food, and even better company being surrounded by other passionate local businesses. We were especially thrilled to celebrate alongside our good friends at Body Place, who took home the well-deserved Fitness award - congratulations!
While we didn't take home the fashion category prize, we're absolutely honoured to have been a finalist among all the other deserving businesses. This recognition means so much to our family business and validates the expert services we've been providing to Melbourne women for over four decades.
