What did you do leading up to Illusions Lingerie?

Before joining Illusions Lingerie, I honed my skills fitting bras at Kicking Curves & Simone Perele. I absolutely fell in love with being able to help women find the right bra and that led me here. I know the challenges that comes with finding a bra that fits well and looks good so I empathise with customers and do my best to take the struggle out of finding the right size and shaped bra. I also believe that every woman deserves to feel confident and comfortable in their lingerie so I live by the philosophy that if you don't love the bra you're wearing, I will do my best to find you one that you'll love and that will make you feel incredible all day long.

Do you have a favourite bra / bra brand?

My favourite brand is easily the range of Prima Donna bras. Their bras are made with superior craftsmanship and high-quality materials, and while they are at a higher price point, Prima Donna bras are perfect for those D cup+ as they offer unparalleled support, comfort and are stunning! I particularly love the wide variety of seasonal colours and patterns they offers as they make sure there's something for everyone.

In addition to Prima Donna, I’m also a big fan of Elomi bras. They’re known for their stylish and supportive fuller figure bras and are commited to offering a wide size range that’s size-inclusive. Do you have a favourite type of bra fitting?

While I have experience in all types of bra fittings, I thoroughly enjoy helping women of a larger figure. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness customers finally feeling supported in a bra that perfectly fits their body. I love being able to provide a safe and comfortable fitting experience for all my customers while I take the time to understand their needs, preferences, and unique requirements, ensuring they leave with a bra they love and a huge smile.

What is it about your job that you love the most?

Like everyone here at Illusions, we all agree that the best part of our job is the ability to transform a customers outlook on life thanks to a well fitting bra. Seeing a customers face light up and rave about how amazing they feel leaving the fitting room wearing a bra that supports their bust, shapes their curves and exudes confidence. It’s so amazing what a properly fitting bra can do!

Are there any misconceptions you find people have about bras and bra fittings?

A common misconception I find is that if you’re one size, you’re that size in every bra. However, each brand, and even each bra, fits differently. So while you may be one size in one bra, you could be a different size in another, and that's completely normal. It’s common to leave with multiple different sizes of bras, but the important thing is that they fit well and you feel good! I’m here to help guide customers to find the ideal size using my knowledge of how each brand and style fit differently.

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVEN’T HAD A BRA FITTING BEFORE?

Getting a bra fittings can be a nerve wracking experience for many people but remember that it’s our job to fit you and we do it all day so theres no need to feel anxious. We always maintain a safe and judgement free environment where you can feel comfortable and confident within yourself.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING OUTSIDE OF WORK?

When I’m not reading or spending time with my boyfriend, I love to try out a new recipe, see my favourite artists in concert, and spending time patting all of the dogs. All of them. Above is a photo of my dog Rosey, isn't she cute! So feel free to visit me and show off your furry friends!
